The Soak You've Been Searching For

Ritesh founder of Tubstays trekking around the Yosemite

Chief Soak Officer

I once wasted an entire evening searching for one simple thing: a hotel near Yosemite with a private, in-room jacuzzi. I found confusing listings, vague filters, and a whole lot of frustration.

It turns out I'm not alone. The perfect soak is too niche for big travel sites. But for us, it's everything — it's the difference between a good trip and an unforgettable one.

So I built the solution I couldn't find: TubStays - A dedicated platform to find hotels with in-room jacuzzis and hot tubs. No more surprises, no more wasted time. Just the soak you deserve.

Why a Private Jacuzzi in Your Room Is Worth the Upgrade?

A private jacuzzi hotel room may feel like a lavish indulgence, right? And while it's certainly a luxury but from all my travels and personal experience, I can tell you no other upgrade comes close. It’s that one thing that lets you step away from the itinerary and into your own bubbling sanctuary - where time slows, noise fades, and the unscripted moments that make a trip unforgettable are made.

The Convenience

Being able to soak whenever, however, and at your perfect temperature, without waiting for your turn or sharing the space, is an upgrade that truly elevates your trip. This is something you got to experience once and trust me there is no turning back!

Rekindle Romance

For couples, an in-room private tub offers a perfect setting to celebrate love and create lasting memories. I frankly can’t think of anything more romantic than a cozy in-room Jacuzzi for two, complete with champagne, rose petals, and the freedom to relax, reconnect, and enjoy private moments together - an experience even a luxury hotel room can’t match.

Recharge & Relax

For hikers and adventurers, nothing beats sinking into your very own hot Jacuzzi after a long day of exploring. It’s a personal recovery station where the gentle jets and bubbling warm water gradually work their way - soothing sore muscles, easing tired joints and leaving you recharged. It’s the kind of reward that makes every mile worth it - your body will certainly thank you.

Whether it's for love, recovery, or simply indulgence - a private Jacuzzi is the upgrade that turns every stay into a story worth remembering.

What is TUBSTAYS?

TubStays is a platform dedicated solely to helping travelers find hotels with in-room Jacuzzis — plain and simple. For larger platforms, Jacuzzis may be a niche, but for us, it's the whole thing. Day in and day out, this is all we do.

We offer the largest selection of curated and verified Jacuzzi stays, and being tech-first, we deliver the same seamless experience you'd expect from the bigger travel websites along with the nuanced insights — enabling our users to find the perfect in-room Jacuzzi stay.

Why are we SOLVING THIS?

The relatively small yet passionate segment of travelers looking for hotels with in-room Jacuzzis is often underserved by larger travel platforms. Most travel websites try to do everything, but end up doing nothing particularly well.

Problem: Underserved Segment

Travelers booking a Jacuzzi stay need far more detail than a typical hotel booking — things like up-to-date images, privacy, tub size, whether it’s in-room or outdoor, and how recently it’s been maintained. These nuanced details are exactly the kind of information larger platforms tend to skip or get wrong, leaving travellers frustrated.

Why: Too Niche for the Giants

Verifying that a hotel actually has a Jacuzzi, keeping that information current, and layering in those nuanced details is resource-intensive. It’s simply too much effort for the big travel whales to prioritize or dedicate resources for such a smaller TAM (Total Addressable Market).

Solution: Obsessive Focus

We focus on just one thing — rooms with Jacuzzis — and we do it exceptionally well. By serving a small but passionate community of travelers that larger platforms overlook, we can obsessively vet each listing for accuracy and finer details, ensuring a seamless and trustworthy booking experience.

How WE DO IT (and Why You Can Trust Us)

Finding a true Jacuzzi stay isn't as simple as ticking a box on a booking site. Most hotels advertise "tubs" or "spas," but what travelers really want is a private, in-room Jacuzzi experience often gets lost in translation. That's where TubStays comes in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Jacuzzi vs Hot tub - What's the difference?

We get this question all the time. The terms are used so interchangeably that it's easy to get confused, so let's settle the debate once and for all. The short answer is: Jacuzzi is a brand and Hot tub is a product. It's like calling every cola a Coke. Coke is a brand; cola is the drink.

Jacuzzi® is the trademarked brand name. The company perfected the modern, self-contained jetted hot tubs. Over the decades, their name became so iconic, it's a household word for hot tubs.

Here’s a clear breakdown:

  • Hot Tub (or more accurately, a Jetted Tub): A general term for any tub equipped with water jets and a heater for relaxation and hydrotherapy. It can be in-ground or above-ground and used indoor or outdoor.
  • Jacuzzi (The Ferrari of hot tubs): A premium brand of jetted hot tub known for superior build, more jets and a superior hydrotherapy experience.

The golden rule: All Jacuzzis are hot tubs, but not all hot tubs are Jacuzzis. In a broader context, Jacuzzi and Hot tub mean one and the same thing but technically they are different – one is a brand and other is a category.

Why Do Hotels Call In-Room Tubs by Many Names?

Hotels get creative with what they call in-room tubs. You'll see "Jacuzzi," "Whirlpool," "Spa Bath," "Jetted Tub," or even "Soaking Tub" on listings. In reality, they all mean pretty much the same thing albeit few minor differences. For example, Jacuzzi® usually has extra jets and is a superior brand, while a whirlpool tub creates a swirling water effect.

Technically, the correct generic term is Jetted Tub. But since hotels use different labels, it can get confusing to know exactly what's in the room.

That's where TubStays comes in. We cut through the noise and verify the details—the tub you see is the tub you get.

Disclaimer
We find hotels with private tubs, but you've to choose the right room type when you book. "Jacuzzi" is a general term we use for any private jetted or whirlpool tub; it does not refer to the Jacuzzi® brand or imply an affiliation.
